Welcome to ALEBRIJES, a place full of magic located 20KM from the Tilarán - Fortune highway. A place surrounded by nature, with amazing views of varied terrain, flora and fauna.
Alebrijes is a place to share with friends and family.
Here you will find a comfortable house with a great view of Lake Arenal. It has a queen size bed and can easily accommodate 3 people. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, fridge, electric hot plate and coffee maker.
Because our rates are so reasonable, you will find that your budget can go further for the fun activities Costa Rica offers.
From here you can see the famous Tico-Wind windsurf and kite boarding site.
We are located just 2 minutes from the road that connects Tilaran to La Fortuna, yet we are in a quiet area.
If you are interested in different tours, La Fortuna is just 40 minutes from here. In the La Fortuna area,(just 30 hour from the casita) you will find Tabacon Hot Springs, Baldi Hot Springs, La Fortuna waterfalls, hanging bridges, Sky Tram, and ATV tours. We are 1 hour and 25 minutes from Monteverdi, Rio Celeste and Tenorio Volcano
Also, we are just 10 minutes from Ecolodge, where you can enjoy Canopy Tours, horse back riding, trails into the forest, kayaks and more
All of these sites can be enjoyed as a one day tour from here.
We are a little less than 4 hours from San Jose International Airport and just 1 hour and 30 minutes from Liberia Airport.
We recommend that our guests rent a four wheel drive car, as it can make travelling in Costa Rica much easier.
If you are landing in San Jose International airport late in the afternoon or at night we recommend that you not drive in the dark. t We can suggest a reasonable place to stay just 5 minutes from the airport.

We are located just 7.5 kilometers from a great Canopy Tour, which is one of the most fun adventures in Costa Rica. Also very close to the cabins you can find many different activities for all the family.
Windsurf / kitesurf.
In less than 10 minutes from Alebrijes you will find the access to the Arenal Lake where people from arround the world come to windsurf and kitesurf, it is a lot of fun!!!
